Baoshan Huang, Ph.D., P.E.
Dr. Baoshan Huang is the Edwin G Burdette Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville. As a scholar in civil infrastructure engineering and a civil engineering practitioner in pavement and geotechnical engineering, Dr. Huang received his Ph.D. degree in civil engineering from Louisiana State University, his M.S. and B.S. degrees from Tongji University in Shanghai, China. His professional career includes over 40 years of experience in transportation and geotechnical engineering with academia, industry, and government agencies. Dr. Huang has published over 300 journal publications and serves as the editor-in-chief, associate editors, and editorial board members of numerous academic journals.
