報(bào)告內(nèi)容: In this talk, we will give a brief introduction on the optimal transport problem and discuss its applications in geometry, cosmology, and image recognition. We will also present some recent results on the free boundary problem in optimal transport. This work is part of a series of collaborations with Gregory Loeper, Shibing Chen and Xu-Jia Wang.

報(bào)告人簡(jiǎn)介:劉佳堃，2006年本科畢業(yè)于浙江大學(xué)，2010年在澳大利亞國(guó)立大學(xué)獲得博士學(xué)位。2010-2013年在普林斯頓大學(xué)做博士后研究，2013-2024年任職于澳大利亞臥龍崗大學(xué)，2024至今任職于澳大利亞悉尼大學(xué)。劉佳堃教授主要研究領(lǐng)域?yàn)榉蔷€性橢圓和拋物偏微分方程及其在幾何和最優(yōu)運(yùn)輸中的應(yīng)用，他在Monge-Ampère方程、Hessian方程及其他變分問題的正則性方面有著重要貢獻(xiàn)，并在國(guó)際頂級(jí)數(shù)學(xué)期刊上發(fā)表多篇論文，部分成果發(fā)表在 Ann. of Math., Comm. Pure Appl. Math., Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal., Adv. Math., Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., Int. Math. Res. Not., CVPDE, Indiana Univ. Math. J.等期刊上。劉佳堃教授在2024年獲得澳大利亞數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)獎(jiǎng)?wù)潞虶avin Brown Prize，2025年當(dāng)選澳洲數(shù)學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)士。
